I owned one of these planers and planed many a bdft through it. Many years later, I did have feed issues with it while building my house. I did shimmed the outfeed roller to try to get it to pull the board. It didn’t fix the problem. Eventually, I had to sideline it in favor of a Dewalt planer. After the house was complete, I found my old friend in a corner wasting away.

Well, I did like the DeWalt planer, so I decided to find the Delta a new home. I took the planer completely apart, cleaned the rollers with soap and water, and vacuumed all the chips out. I the put it back together, making sure I adjusted the outfeed roller to factory specs. With new blades installed, she fired up and planed boards like new.

I listed it on Craigslist and got $225 for it.
