Laguna Tools says it will donate $25,000 in product to a fund that will benefit wounded veterans.
The company will make the donation through the Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers, which will assist in vetting and corroborating veterans who will benefit from the donation.
"[Laguna president] Torben [Helshoj] and I deeply believe that we have a moral obligation to support the people who have fought for this country," Laguna vice president Catherine Helshoj said in a statement. "We hope our donation to this worthy cause will encourage the woodworking industry to join us in establishing a formal support program for our veterans."
In order to qualify, applicants must have served in the U.S. Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force or National Guard. Both active duty and reserve organizations qualify. Applicants must have had a service related injury or disability incurred or aggravated during active military service; an honorable or medical discharge on a DD214 form; and a letter of recommendation from a commanding officer or reporting senior officer, Wounded Warriors representative or Veteran Affairs director.

I know of wounded veterans who might be interested in this; Arlin Eastman comes to mind and I know there are more.
Hope this may be of interest to a few out there!
