I’ve got a ClearVue I installed in ‘12; total price was about $3,600 for the electrical sub-panel I had to install, the cyclone, pipe, and fittings. By far the most expensive tool set-up in my shop. (detailed in my blog if interested)

My Wife is a chest radiologist; talked to some of her clinical colleague about my hobby one day and came home insisting I upgrade my dust collection. They had all seen problems resulting from chronic dust exposure. I’m also asthmatic, and have no desire to cause any insult or injury to my lungs.

The air in my shop is noticeably cleaner. Much less dust on every surface, no more blowing wood putty out of my nose at the end of the day. It’s money I’m happy I spent.
