If any of you think the government gives a damn about any of us, well I feel sorry for you. It doesn’t matter if it is this administration or past ones, their strings are being pulled by people in the shadows. The DOE (department of energy) was formed by Jimmy Carter during the 70’s gas crisis, which was a total sham. I know this having been in the coast guard, and my buddies on cutters telling me that just over the horizon, the tankers sat in pods, and every few days, one would pull out of the pod and cruise on in with oil. The DOE has a $26 billion dollar budget, employs 60,000 people and has yet to develop one new source of energy or further any ideas, which is why it was formed in the first place. Every new idea has come from private companies or persons in their garage. I could go on and on with facts of bull crap that has been fed us, by the likes of Al Gore, supposed experts, and enviromentalists who are saving us all. I live in Florida, tons of oil off the coast in the Gulf, that we can’t touch because of our tree huggers, when it’s been shown that we can safely obtain this oil with so little risk to the enviroment. Or lets talk about the oil that can’t be touched in San Antonio Texas because we don’t want to upset a snail !!!!!!!! A snail??? We have so many alternatives, yet our government is hardly behind it and doesn’t want to be, there goal is one that most everyone has no clue of, and few will listen. I don’t buy that this oil is unattainable, it’s probably just more crap for us to eat. Thanks RJ for posting this. The rest of the world, especially the U.S. needs to wake up.
