1) This is rather political for a woodworking forum, and for calling people to spread around your message

2) Where do they get the number $107 a barrel? It’s around $50 now? With all that new supply it should drop even further. And if US then try to control oil supply to to preserve the price point (and you bet oil companies will do so to remain profitable), then that would be the same as what OPEC is doing now.

3) Environmentalist have their place in the world. Some might be extreme but most are not. Not a good idea to discredit them, since I bet you want a good environment to live in also

4) Using your logic, by doing NOTHING to control climate changes, you’ve forfeited your right to complain when world weather pattern drastically changes, food supply fluctuates, and fresh water become a more precious resource than oil and US will be importing that instead, and you end up paying outrageous price for food.
