If you have a table saw and can cut wider boards there if need be, I would keep the 12”. It’s what I use. I have no desire for a slider. Takes up too much valuable room. Clunky to move around. I believe the non slider to be more accurate, comparing my 12” de Walt to my dads 10” de Walt slider. I would get a new blade though for fine cuts, something with a full kerf. Thin kerf will deflect when cutting something less than a full blade width.
