ok so the other day I was working in my home shop and I got to thinking. Yeah that happens somethymes. I have been working on some cedar planter boxes for sale, trying to get them done before we move (may 1st) therefore getting them done before summer. I was working with my little stanly 12-101 micro plan and said to myself "Boy I love this tool" There fore brings my forum question….
what tool do you use the most in your shop and is it your favorite? If its not your favorite what tool is?
If I could figure out how to post pictures of my tools I would but the most used tool in my shop I think is my porter cable ns150 narrow crown stapler but it's not my fav. I use one all day in my job job. but my fav tool has to be my little stanley. it really makes quick work of easing or dare I say rounding over the edges.

I'd have to say the most used tools for me are my carving chisels. My favorite tool is probably the lathe, but I never have any material to make anything. I'm trying to make a yo-yo right now but it's not working so bueno.

My favorite tools is my pencil, but it's also my most misplaced tool, good thing i don't need one for posting. After the pencil comes the borrowed table saw, a 3hp craftsman. My least favorite is the chisel.(see Picture next to name)But the most used is probably my Skill cordless drill, which is not a good one and is often slowing me down while i wait for it to charge.

MY TOOLS are like the kids i love them all = until one brakes then i dont like it so much . what i ust the most is a porter cable 4×24 belt sander hooked to a shop vac. i build a lot things with rough sawn lumber then sand and sand and sand this meens i have gone throngh a lot of vacs and sanders the porter cable is lasting longer than the others ive had . the other thing is you can never have too maney tools or fire arms even if you dont get to use them as often as you would like brian

My favorite and most used tool is my pair of 6" dial calipers.

They cut and paste their "Direct Link" of your picture into your blog with an exclamation point at each end.

Here is an example with spaces on each end: (just so it will display here)

Just remove the spaces at the start and end and you end up with:
