Hi Mark!
Here in Winnipeg, the threats of flooding grow more ominous by the day…despite the Red River floodway which was expanded and dug deeper last year to detour the river overflow around the city. I just can’t get used to the thought of a river flowing northward! At Lockport it is still thick ice, and Selkirk further north is still frozen solid and I say this for the benefit of those who aren’t familiar with the Red River, between MN and ND, flowing northward into Canada. Yeah, localMac, the flooding in ND in ‘97 was simply astounding! I understand ALL of EGF was lost, too! I’ve only seen pictures. Cabela’s is nice, but for the water to get that high is amazing. We planned to shop Fargo over Easter, but the roads are likely to be closed for flooding at exactly that time.
