The bolt patterns for both the 2 1/4 and 3 1/4 router bases are the same.
And to eveyone else reading this topic and own a table router i hope you use the lock lever. That could be your movement problem. So you all see you have to reach under to lock anyway.

Any way i have both size routers, the 2 1/4 still amazes me. But the 3 1/4 is what i use in the table, next best thing to a shaper, what a hog it is.
