Mulberry trees grow vertically with draping vine-like limbs, sort of like a weeping willow. I didn’t know they got that big though! I have one in the front yard my neighbor planted and it is only about 4” diameter. They look like an upside down umbrella, but the limbs go pretty much to the ground. Most mulberry trees are actually a graft tree and you are supposed to trim any branches that start to grow vertically. Will be interesting to see how the wood looks. -- Rich, anybody want a peanut? |
