I heard the issue is related to spammers using the video capability. Would it be possible to have an approval process that allows members to request the capability to post videos and when approved be able to embed videos?

Video really enhances the site and I would hate to see people who put so much effort into making videos no longer make them available on the site.

I agree with you Wayne. Ever since lumberjocks decided to drop the embed capability for video it was kind of disheartening. I still won't stop posting on lumberjocks but it would be nice if the embed codes would be allowable once again

Simpler to disable embedding for anyone with less than xx# of posts. Seems like the flow of spammers has decreased significantly so any that get through wouldn't be able to embed anything until they reached 100 posts or whatever number is deemed appropriate.

The local drive in used to have a great flea market too. Lots of tools and stuff. Now both are closed and gone.

I need to figure out how to watch Stumpy's videos on Chromecast.
