Unless those blades were used a lot, they should be sharpened. I got my jointer for $50, and the previous
owner had sharpened the blades himself, and they showed it. We have a saw shop here that sells and services
blades for all the sawmills around, and they sharpened the blades for me, unless you have plenty of sharpening
experience, I would not suggest that you try to sharpen jointer blades, get a professional to do it.
