A few months ago, one of the LJ members posted a review of Harbor Freight 12" miter saw where they mentioned that they had to open up the motor arbor and modify some washers to get the blade to cut accurate 90 deg cuts. I thought I had added it to my favorites but I was wrong. Can someone please point me to that review?
No, it was a different review or forum thread and I thought it was for a 12" saw, but I might be wrong on that. But I do remember that the LJ member even posted a link to the electronic manual and described something like there was an additional washer installed on the saw than called out by the manual.
I found the review I was looking for. It is actually a thread where LJ member Tennessee described how he fixed the blade run-out by removing the extra washers on the arbor. Here's the link: posts # 32 and 35
