I would call it junk…and then drop it in the mail to me!

J.K. I have a real similar plane from my Grandpa’s collection. On mine, the lever cap was broken and brazed back together. I actually see the damage as a gift, because a No. 62 in great shape is too valluable to use, but a slightly damaged one makes a great user.

Get it fix and use it with pride!
