Probably one of the nicer planes Stanley ever made, plus it’s from your Grandpa!
Highly collectible, very pricey…...
Garrett Hack in his Hand Plane Book (here) gives some directions about this type of cracks, but your plane is all the way worthy to be keeped and restored
