I’d skip the reliant….it was a fairly unknown brand when they were being sold. It’s been more than 10 years. There’s an old Delta 22-540 near you that’s more of a proven performer. They’re known workhorses. Any planer without a cutterhead lock or a 4-post screw design will snipe more than others, but with good technique it can be manageable.
