Me . . . yep Zuki turned 40 this morning February 16, 2009.

Yea . . . I know. You older folks are saying "oh to be 40 again" and you younger people are saying "40 . . . that is sooo oooold!" I'm still trying to figure out which one I subscribe to.

I decided to take the day off work, not sure if I will be going out in the shop though. My darling wife surprised me with a Kreg K3 Master System this morning. I have been eyeing one for some time. Thank you dear. Oh . . . she purchased my birthday gift with HER credit card this time. :)

Anyhoo . . . time to drag these 40 year old bones off the couch and go do something constructive.

PS - Pic is from our friends at Lee Valley where DW purchased the kit.

Happy 40!!
You will find, I'm sure, that 40 is just the beginning of the best time of your life. Not too young and not too old. (I'm not sure when the "too old" part arrives - I guess it is when you THINK you are old.)

Anyway… happy birthday and congrats on the great gift. I look forward to seeing what it helps you create!

Happy Birthday Zuki, the big 40 huh? Good for you, still a kid. I got socks older than that. Well I wish you 50 or 60 more if you want that many. Most of all good health and happiness, if you got that you got it all. m

Thanks all.

40 is the new 30 . . . I like that !!! Tks Charlie.

I just got back from my parents and they gave me 40 Canadian silver dollars . . . with several being my birth year of 1969.

Fellow Canuck Jocks will understand the following a little more than others . . .

When they gave it (wrapped of course) I thought it was a sleeve of Loonies, but the diameter was a little to big. I then thought it was a sleeve of Toonies. I opened it up to see a roll of silverish coins with the word "dollar" and a picture of a canoe and the year 1969. This really confused me as Loonies never came out until the 90's and the colour was wrong. I must have looked really confused as they were laughing at me asking did I know what it was. I even started looking at the edge to see if they were the foil chocolate candy. I felt like a fool when they asked "what colour are they and what does it say on the coin?" and I replied "silver" and "dollar". Doh . . .

A different gift . . . but DW has suggested that I frame them. Which I will do.

My bro is giving me a subscription to a magazine.

All in all it has been a good day.

Happy Birthday to you. I'd say more, but I might find myself in violation of copyright laws. I must say I am a bit surprised since I thought you were already growed up, but youth is a good thing to have. Enjoy it well.

40??! OH to be 40 again!!! hahaha Well, it's only been 2 1/2 years, but man, I didn't ache then like I do now.

I don't have the master system, but a few months ago, I finally bought myself a Kreg set, and haven't looked back since. It's taken over where the biscuit system left off. In fact, I think I prefer it now, because the joints are super strong, even without glue.

Oh about age, in some regards, it's only gotten better.
