Personally, I’d stay away from the $400 Porter Cable. Mine is two years old, give or take, and I recently lost the upper wheel hinge assembly when the co-planer adjuster on the hinge assembly started to crack. Now I keep my blades a little on the tight side, due to all the jewelry boxes, but it cracked on a 3/16” blade. Give me a break.

On the other side, the whole assembly was in stock at a couple places online. I picked eReplacements.com, who shipped me one out on Saturday for under $40, including shipping. Should have it maybe Wednesday, UPS Ground.
Still, it is a cheap bandsaw and you get about $400 worth of bandsaw, even with the bearing upgrades I put on it.
