I’m usually pretty careful to inspect my material so that I follow the grain. I have other problems with my cheap jointer like the fence doesnt hold straight very well and even when it doesnt tear pieces out of the wood i never end up with a smooth finish. i have also heard complaints from other LJs about this specific jointer I have
