Hi Folks,
Over time I have noticed that the blade washer was getting more difficult to get on and off.
Recently, I needed to change the blade; its been several weeks since the last time I switched the blade;
I had a really hard time getting it off, and I could not get it back on.
I did not have another Ridgid Blade washer. I had some Boche blade sabllizers, I thought about using one of them
but decided it was not a good idea. So I clamped the washer to my drill press, and just shaved it a bit with a cone shaped grinder. After that it slipped right on.
I then did a full table saw tune up, did all the alignment checks, all was fine.
I ordered a Ridgid blade washer and and nut, $50 with shipping.
Is this normal ? Should I be worried ?
Thank so much
