I would suggest purchasing a router that has a plunge adapter too. I have a mount on my router table and a plunge adapter. It takes only seconds to pull the router from the table and put it into the plunger and that gives me all sorts of flexibility with the tool. Then again I love to build decorative inlays like my avatar shows!!! :)
