IMHO, I would have skipped the 892 and went for the bosch 1617EVS instead. It has a good track record and is usually cheaper.
The 892 is a good router, but not so much a good deal.

For table construction, 2 pieces of 3/4” MDF glued together with hardwood edges, then plastic laminate on top make a great table top. I’m a big fan of incra’s magnalock insert plates. They have the best ring insert system available, and are a full 3/8” thick aluminum.
