Next time you do this, I would suggest using your fence to hold the ZCI down so the blade can’t push it up. Of course it seems like yours is tight enough in the slot to hold it firmly, but just running the fence over the edge of the ZCI holds it down so it can’t fly up and hit you or anyone else.
