I own the Craftsman. It’s OK, but after using it for a while for woodworking, I really wish I’d spent more and got something better. My biggest gripe is the depth adjustment. It locks down solid, but it’s nearly impossible to make fine adjustments—the mechanism has too much play/slop. On the positive side, the larger base is very nice and allows a lot of control of the actual cuts, especially doing edge work. If all you were doing is trimming laminate, I would recommend it in a heartbeat, but for everything else woodworking, not so much.

If I could do it over again, I’d spring for the DeWalt DWP611PK that has both the fixed and plunge bases.
