I have the 735 and a Jet 15”(just like all the other 15”). The 15” is nice to take off a lot of wood and get it done quickly. I use the 735 to take off small amounts and to be able to get down to precise thickness with a good surface finish.

The 735 has proven to be a good machine with many people. I think that I have gone through 4 sets of edges on knives on it and it is still going strong. It also has a dust extractor blower which works well and you can just run a 4” pipe into a garbage can. The biggest negative is that it is LOUD. It is the loudest tool I own.

In my opinion, unless you are going to plane down rough cut wood, the 735 may be the only planer you might need for a long time.
