I was working on a project on my Hammer K3 table saw last night. I was cutting a number of small pieces that required getting my fingers closer to the blade than I felt comfortable with so I was able to quickly and easily clamp them to the slider using a built-in stop on the miter fence and make an accurate and repeatable cut. The fingers stayed well out of the way. Sliders are NICE!
