I just added a riser block to my bandsaw a couple of weeks ago and needed 105” blades for it. The riser kit included a blade (whatever comes stock with the Powermatic). I odered two blades…one is a Carter and the other is a Woodslicer. I tried all of them while playing around with resawing some 9” wide maple, oak, cherry Padauk. The Woodslicer blade from Highland woodworks was far superior than the Carter blade and the blade that came with the riser kit was a joke…I have several Timberwolf blades that are 93’ that I used prior to the riser but I never used them to resaw anything thicker than 5”.

-- Each step of every Wood Art project I design and build is considered my masterpieceā€¦ because I want the finished product to reflect the quality and creativeness of my work
