9 microns! That’s 3/10 of a thousandth of an inch! Human hair ranges from 17-180 microns, so their plane shavings are half the diameter of the thinnest human hair. Simply amazing! Their plane blades must be beyond scary sharp and the wood is conducive to produce those thin shavings.
