Hi Folks,

yes .. Knotscott I did buy blade stiffeners for the sake of just having them .. I will not do that again.

I am a new wood worker, and I guess I wanted every advantage to take on a project with thin rips of expensive wood, and I will using this blade:

MODEL # DIA. TEETH ARBOR GRIND KERF RAKE APPLICATION
RS-25524-U 10” 24 5/8” ATB .079” 20 ULTRA-THIN 10” rip blade. Only .079” kerf. Fast and clean, even without stabilizer plates.

I hard time getting the plate on the motor side off, it was really stuck.

I aligned it again, much better, but it still needs some tweaking.

Am I going to have to buy a thin knife when I but the thin kerf blade on ?
