right that is exactly what I mean. It has a nurlled infeed roller so in softer wood you have to take 1/16” pass to remove the marks. when I am hoging rough lumber I generally take 1/8 to 3/16 a pass with my 12” belsaw. right now I am taking some 9/4×10” x 18’ oak boards down to 1 1/2 for some counter top an 1/8 of an inch is all it wants to cut at 10”wide.
