Have you made frames before?

I only ask because I am a fairly serious amateur photographer, and have made a few frames for my photos. The bottom line for me is that frames are too labor-intensive. It seems like a no-brainer for a woodworking photographer to make his own frames. But by the time I look at the time and expense involved, and a result that looks no better and isn’t any cheaper than something I could have purchased commercially, I find that I’d rather spend my woodworking time on more satisfying projects.

Of course, your experience may be different. That’s just my two cents.
