The gazebo isn’t finished to the point where I can put in a storm door. Basically only the ceiling is finished. The 6X6 posts holding up the ceiling are still accessible. Because the gazebo is an elongated octagon the posts are angled in relation to one another. I don’t think a regular door would work, not with out some very time consuming and very custom spacers, keeping the spacers in place with he kinds of wind we have here sometimes would be really difficult.

So I will need to have a door that can be trimmed to suit the angle of the posts to mount the hinges. I also want a door that can be used for ventilation during the war summer days. That was one of the reasons why I was thinking of a louvred door. It will stop most of the wind (depending on louvre spacing) but still allow some air flow.

That is Al’s why I had the viny panels made. So they can be rolled up on a warm day.
