I wouldn’t get a jointer unless its an 8” of larger with parallel adjustments. The planer (DW 735) is the important one and is all I usually need to face joint lumber. I use the table saw for edge jointing. Still, I have a 6” jointer that sits mostly unutilized, but since it was a good deal, I got it.

I love my 22/44 and sometimes I use it in place of the planer. I wish I had gotten it sooner than I did.

But, yeah, Dallas is correct. Build stuff…you’ll soon learn what is right for you.
