I have a Steel City 12” jointer. It’s basically a newer version of Delta’s old DJ-30. When Delta did one of their many self-destructions, a lot of their guys went to work for a new company called Steel City. Odds are this 6” is an OK jointer. It won’t be great but it should be better than junk. Look at how long the bed is, how many knives there are on the head, how powerful the motor is . . . I would use the cost of a new Grizzly 6” as a starting point for what a guy should be willing to pay . . .
