I have no personal experience, but I’d opt for the traditional metal bushing sets. The plastic construction, among other things, is a turn-off for me. The few sites that list the milescraft set include some highly variable reviews.

Ridgid makes a very nice “brass” set that can be had for $30 and includes a storage case, sub-bases and centering cone. Its compatible with PC-style sub-bases and will likely be the last set of bushings you’ll ever need to buy. I like my set anyway.
