Thanks for the responses. I need the pieces for an arts and crafts kit I put together. I have a supplier for these who cannot keep up with my orders, so I want to get someone else on the project too. I have made about 100 of them myself, but I’m too busy to spend the time on it, and my tools aren’t all they could be. I was resawing the pieces from walnut table leg stock, and cleaning them up on a table top belt sander. The thin pieces were coming off very flat for me, and I wrap them in plastic and stack them under heavy books to help keep them flat. They do need to be fairly flat or I can’t use them, but I understand that it is wood and may be prone to the butterfly effect. I am hoping that the person doing the cutting can supply the wood. I am flexible on payment arrangements and will cover the shipping costs separately, or it can be figured into the price of the finished pieces. I would expect to pay a portion upfront. I am a sculptor mostly working in metal (www.maronpot.com) and I would never take a commissioned job without some payment upfront for supplies and security. I can pay by check, certified check, paypal, or credit/debit card if you can take payment that way. I’m happy to answer more questions about this, thanks for your consideration.
