What style desk are you building? Will you be making any kind of a face frame around the drawer, keyboard pull-out and storage area?

Sorry for the simple drawing, but are you referring to #4 in my drawing? I drew it with no face frame, just a short vertical (short side) which could be fastened to the underside of the desk top and your right hand slide could mount to that. I showed the drawer box with no drawer front, but one could be applied that would be wider then the drawer box to hide the slides from view. You could use the same principle if you are planning on doing a face frame type construction. (Also that short vertical side could be used for mounting the left side of the slides for the keyboard pull-out.
