Now what makes any of you think I own a kitchen aid or a sewing machine? :) :) Elizabeth got it! That’s exactly what I was talking about. Thanks, Elizabeth, it takes a woman….

Just for the fun of it, I’ll take this moment to explain why my husband and i will be spending this weekend cannibalizing my two shop heaters to convert them to 220 outlets. When my shop was being built, I had to go out of town to take of my daughter when was very sick, so I wasn’t able to be there to oversee how I wanted the electrical laid out. Even though I had discussed it very specifically with the contractor and briefly with the electrician, they just didn’t grasp what I meant when i said I was a woodworker and needed to have a lot of power to shop. I insisted I wanted 4 220 outlets. I got one. The “explanation” after the fact was, “You won’t need that kind of power for a scroll saw. I was thinking you would want a good heating system and enough power for a scroll saw and a few other small power tools.

Soooooo, I’m a bit sensitive. Again, good thing I have a sense of humor. The best part was when I came home the skylight had been filled with insulation and sheet rocked over. WTF?
