For occasional use and if a little more weight is not an issue, the Harbor Freight guns are a very good, cheap option. Wait for a coupon and get one for $50-$60. I used two for a year with my professional framing crew while waiting for parts to repair my Bostich guns.

If you want to spend a little more to get a lot more, I would suggest the consumer level Hitachi, $179-$199. They are much lighter, durable, and more efficiently use the air.

As for clipped or full round head, I prefer and suggest the full round head. While these guns do not hold as many nails, the installed nails have slightly more holding power, and in some parts of the country, clipped heads will not pass code.
