I don’t have a problem with buying a reconditioned tool, especially Bosch. A new tool from them has a 1 year warranty. A factory reconditioned has the same 1 year warranty.

New tools get looked at quickly for QA, but the reconditioned tools get checked over pretty well to make sure they are functioning properly before they get sent back out. So, all in all I do not see why not to go with a reconditioned tool if the warranty is the same.
