Could just run a wire between 2 eye screws and clamp over & through wire so the clamps aren’t clamping anything. I just found this by googling “clamp rack” I like it! One of my big concerns is using up precious wall space. So this would be perfect. http://www.scrgeek.com/woodwork/clampRack.html
