I don’t think it’s all that big an issue…that’s what the off-topic forums are for.

For me, it’s the trolling behavior…or shock-jock language…where it seems that you (or others) want to manipulate in order to get a response. Akin to that is the lack of humility that goes into such posts.

I think, with you, people want to respond because they feel they need to feed the troll as opposed to any value in the topics themselves. You raise good questions…try letting them stand on their own.
