BTW, since you obviously like to engage in such things, your above 3 points regarding the NBA and the NFL could be partially explained by sample size. Since it could be shown that low socio-economic groups are heavily comprised of minority people groups, a correlation might also be established regarding the types of sporting activities that most such communities are engaged in.

Football can be played with an old shoe (until Pop Warner league)...and everybody can play hoops in these communities. In fact, as a baseball fan, one of the laments of many is that sports like baseball (among others) are not played by people in these areas due to the prohibitive costs. This could explain why black athletes are the minority in MLB. Golf? Of course; same reason.

So when you have a large sampling of the best athletes of a given race growing up to play mostly football and basketball…I think that has a lot to do with what you perceive in your observations. It becomes a matter of sheer numbers. It’s interesting that guys like RGIII and Cam Newton are breaking through at the quarterback position (though it remains to be seen if they are better than Cunningham, McNair, and McNabb who preceded them).

Even so, again, why would the quarterback position be so overwhelmingly dominated by white athletes traditionally in a sport where blacks have, according to many (yourself included), taken over dominant roles at the other positions? Again, I’m not one to suggest that it makes whites better athletes overall than blacks…but I am one to say that it’s a major data point that should probably be answered BEFORE you make the statement that blacks are better at football than whites.

Don’t you think?
