I listened to other people and got knives instead of spiral big mistake on my part the spiral will be setup easyonthebrainand back and cheaper in the long run if you get the grizzly take the base sheilds off both sides when setting the table on then make sure you set the table toward the front of the base this will give you more room to get your pulleys coplaner its not hard to setup but I have a tractor with a loader and a nylon lift strap so that gives me more setup time because i can move the base where I want it, I have read where people couldn’t get to the pulleys to get them coplaner thats easy do not put the fence or anything on until you have turned the machine on and are actually ready to plane this gives you room to adjust everything all you need is a 24inch straight edge and simply go in from the bottom of the pulley side instead of goin in from the top by the cutterhead use a little common sense and you be screaming and sweating remember do not put the fence on until you have the pulleys coplaner when they are coplaner startup and shutdown is very smooth make sure you tighten the pulley set screws good when you have it coplaner or it will vibrate loose thats on any planer do a few test tuns of starting up and shutting down at least 10 and maybe run a board through without the fence and put a little strain on it to see if everything is tight if you dont you will have to take the fence and everything back off thank you goodnite
