got on my hardwood floor while i was painting. There are several spots on the floor that made its way around my tarp. The floor is finished with a water-based urethane topcoat. Now, can I use a little mineral spirits and denatured alcohol to take out these spots, or will it remove the water-base topcoat? Please save me…from my wife!
Are these droplets? You could remove by simply and carefully scrape (finger nail). If its water based, a little mineral spirits should not hurt the finish. Work in small areas, and quickly cleanup with a little soapy water, followed by a bit of buffing.
Yea there are a few droplets and one small smear. I will try the MS and see how that works, thanks!
