Posted on Orbital or 1/4 sheet sander?

The orbital sanders are obviously round because they orbit. That means you can’t get into corners with them if you have that need. Like Willie, I only use an orbital sander because it just does so much better of a job. Someplace around my shop that I would have to search for, I have one of those pointy nose vibration sanders that I can dig out in the event I need to get into corners. What I would normally do is finish sand before assembly to avoid having to sand in corners. If you are only buying one, my suggestion is the orbital.
