Im trying to remove deep milling marks and bought a belt sander after realizing that the oscillating sander wasnt removing enough and i dont have a planer. Im using the belt sander to remove milling marks, then oscillating to remove the sanding lines from the belt sander.

What i realized was happening was the belt sander was gouging the stock but i didnt see them till the oscillating pulled the packed sawdust from the gouges. I vaccumed off a few pieces i hadnt hit with the oscilating sander yet and there they were.

Live and learn! I need the replace the dewalts switch, ill do the brake & disc as preventative maintenence.
