I think I’d use the puddy Gpa mentions or the silicone and then the foil back tape.

I have a large gab between my table saw cast iron top and the cabinet. I used Styrofoam to wedge in the gap and that really helped the HF Dust / Chip collector keep up with collecting the waste.

I have a few rolls of the foil tape and hadn’t thought about using that > Hmmmmm I’ll look at that tomorrow!! There’s also a few openings in the bottom of the cabinet I can use that for!!
