not knowing what type of projects you have in mind, its hard to answer. I have the Rigid3560. I love the saw, and I have a freud blade on it.. I use the 50 tooth combination blade, thin kerf for most of my work. If I am going to be doing a lot of ripping, will change to the 40 tooth thin kerf. You will also want to pick up a dado set for it. I have the avanti stack set and its been fine.. not real expensive and does a good job.. one of the first things that you want to do is make some zero clearance inserts for the table. one for the single blade and one for the dado.. although you may need to make a few for the dado. I have a 3/8” and a 3/4” insert that covers most of my dado use. no matter what blade you use, you will have chip out with out making the zero clearance inserts. -- Papa@papaswoodworking.com |
