Charles, this had been sitting for over three years. I got it from a guy that does flooring from scratch, mostly white oak. He had bought the cherry for a special order that never happened. The boards had green and blue ends which means it’s already planed and jointed on all sides. I did sand if from 40g to 240g to remove some of that patina and some scratches and gouges. It didn’t need to be planed.
I’ll grab a couple boards and see if I can match them with some dye.
How many coats of conditioner should I use, I was thinking two?
